| carried in February amounted to about 7.99 million, an increase of 2.8% year-on-year but a |
| decrease of 4.7% month-on-month. |
| For the first two months of 2017, the accumulated passengers carried amounted to about |
| 16.398 million, up 7.2% over the same period last year. |
| In February, passenger capacity (measured by available seat kilometres (ASK)) increased |
| by 0.9%, and passenger traffic increased by 3.6% from a year earlier. The overall |
| passenger load factor was 83.4%, an increase of 2.1 percentage points compared to the same |
| period last year. |
| In terms of cargo operations, in February, cargo capacity (measured by available freight |
| tonne kilometres (the AFTK)) declined 1.7% year-on-year. Cargo and mail traffic increased |
| 11.7% and the volume of cargo and mail carried rose 18.3% as compared to the same period |
| last year. The cargo load factor was 46.8% in February, representing a year-on-year growth |
