Its program, PM577 for Wilson Disease, is designed to initially correct the H1069Q mutation in the ATP7B gene and is supported by preclinical data showing targeted correction and restoration of copper homeostasis in animal models. In addition, PM647 is being developed for alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, or AATD, another liver targeted disease with substantial unmet need. |
